An IN-PERSON class with Jackie Jamison, one of our favorite soil
health experts! Expand your understanding of healthy soil and learn
how you can apply that knowledge to your own garden.
The class will be focused on understanding the basics of backyard
composting. We’ll explore the processes and practices so you can
have your own ‘black gold’ to help build healthy soil!
Bees, butterflies, other insects and even birds are part of a healthy
pollination ecosystem. Learn how to enhance your organic garden by
encouraging a healthy pollinator population.
It’s the world’s favorite vegetable! If you love tomatoes, too, come
learn how to select seeds and transplants and how to successfully
grow the tomato & its tasty cousins. Yes, you can!
Learn the history and basics of seed saving - and why it matters -
with Jessica McAleese from Swift River Farm, a seed grower/owner
and Seed Ambassador at Snake River Seed Coop.

then finalize your registration, meet the other gardeners and learn
